Amphenol Printed Circuits (APC) manufactures and assembles rigid
The Director of Engineering will oversee Product, Process and Applications Engineering. The ideal candidate will run all of the engineering activities and projects within the organization and make sure these are aligned with the established policies and objectives of the organizations.
Plans and coordinates the work of engineering staff.
Develop the team to optimize performance and skills necessary to complete work assignments. This includes continuous review of talent, hiring, onboarding and development.
Oversees engineering staff and ensures that they meet goals and objectives.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Provides training and mentoring as needed.
Works with General Manager and Director of Global Operations to create long-range operating and manufacturing goals specific to the needs of the organization.
New product development.
Collaborates with marketing department to determine market potential for new products.
Oversees progress and timeliness of projects.
Reviews project reports to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
Ability to travel domestic and international may be required.
The position will be a critical liaison between customers and operations.
Performs other related duties as required.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Extensive technical knowledge of engineering and product development.
Excellent financial skills and ability to analyze financial data.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors’ degree in Engineering required; Masters’ degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.
10+ years of experience in engineering field in a product development role.
5+ years of supervisory experience
· Knowledge of PCB and Assembly manufacturing required.
