POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Supports management in writing, reviewing, organizing, coordinating, and executing corporate communications for AGNE through multiple channels, including newsletters, intranet and other platforms. Topics may include corporate milestones and activities such as company goals and projects; new products or services; community service activities; and new hires, promotions, and retirements.
Assists the Corporate Communications & Engagement Manager in designing and implementing L&D initiatives throughout the year, such as, but not limited to, AGU. This may involve the construction and/or review of presentations in support of Company initiatives.
Responsible for the coordination and implementation of company-wide events such as different retention initiatives, employee engagement events, fundraisers, etc.
Works with the Talent Acquisition/HR Coordinator & Marketing team to increase company’s presence on recruiting sites and social media to better market and attract talent, building a corporate brand.
Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in employee retention, morale, recognition, productivity, and incentives.
Promotes and attends special events and functions as needed.
Maintains positive employee relations by responding to general employee questions
May serve as a back-up to the Talent Acquisition/HR Coordinator to cover the full recruiting cycle as needed. This includes, but is not limited to, prescreening and interviewing candidates, coordinate pre-employment/post offer screenings, updating online job boards, conducting new hire orientation, and processing new hire paperwork.
Assists HR leadership in the research, development, drafting, publication, and distribution of the employee handbook/policies.
Maintains and updates documentation, tracking systems and databases; ensures proper recording, approval, and disposition of all documents received in accordance with established policies and procedural guidelines.
Serves as primary back-up to the Receptionist.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing or related field and/or 1-3 years’ related experience.
General knowledge and understanding of human resources concepts, practices, policies, and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization and be a strong contributing member of multiple teams
Strong relationship development skills resulting in long-term mutually beneficial relationships.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks to meet requirements and time sensitive deadlines.
Ability to manage competing demands while being extremely adaptable and flexible; must be organized and able to multi-task in a busy environment.
Experience working with various HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, and other HR systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and team-based project experience.
Self-motivated, able to work independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
