**Position Overview:**

As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for not just leading and supervising projects from start to finish, but also assisting your crew by operating heavy equipment or whatever else may need your assistance. Your expertise and leadership will ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Provide strong leadership and supervision to crews, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and project specifications.

– Coordinate and schedule equipment, materials, and manpower required for each project.

– Oversee site operations, including earthmoving, grading, trenching, and shoring activities.

– Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.

– Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project plans effectively.

– Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and provide timely solutions to ensure project milestones are achieved.

– Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, crew time cards, progress updates, and safety records.

– Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.

– Train and mentor crews, promoting a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

– Proven experience as a Working Superintendent or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in the commercial and residential site work industry.

– Strong knowledge of excavation techniques, equipment, and Best Management Practices.

– Skilled in operating heavy equipment.

– Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.

– Efficient with reading plans

– Precise in layout, grade control and use of lasers & GPS systems.

– Extensive experience in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

– In-depth understanding of construction safety protocols and regulations.

– Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

– Proficient in using construction management software and other relevant tools.

– Accurate and detailed with reporting of work done each day on the site.

– Effectively gets paperwork to those who need it in a timely manner.

Pay Scale Ranges between $95k – $110k per year based on experience.

Applicant must be legal to work in the U.S. and have a valid license. Travel will be required to our different job sites so you will need reliable transportation. A company vehicle or vehicle stipend is available. Applicant will be subject to background checks and drug/alcohol testing.
