We are seeking a Field Service Assistant to help with the operation and maintenance of direct-push and hollow stem auger drill rigs, related equipment and vehicles. If you don’t know what any of this means but are high energy, willing and able to learn, able to regularly lift 80+ pounds, have a valid driver’s license and an interest in learning to repair mechanical and hydraulic systems, we can train you.
You will work as part of a two-person team to help perform environmental and geotechnical drilling (e.g., borings, sampling, in-situ testing, monitoring well installations, repairs and decommissioning) in the field. You will also maintain logs, records and reports.
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have a valid driver’s license. CDL B license is a plus. Strong interest and/or ability to maintain and repair mechanical and hydraulic systems is required. Must have strong problem-solving, communication, multi-tasking and customer service skills with the ability to present a professional image. Regular lifting of 80+ pounds, working outdoors in all types of weather and a strong focus on safety is required. Travel is required.
Competitive hourly wage and an outstanding benefits package. Local candidates only/within commute distance of the Pembroke, NH area. No relocation. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship of any kind now and in the future.
