Our client, a very successful, family-owned, small construction company, located near Laconia, NH is seeking an Accounting Manager. Reporting directly to the Controller, this is a great opportunity for someone willing to learn and who wants to grow into an Assistant Controller role.

Responsibilities include supporting the Controller in all aspects of accounting, including generating month, quarter and year-end reports, general office, business, human resource and benefits administration functions.  Hands-on involvement with contracts and insurance; cross training will be provided in accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.

Related accounting experience and MS Office, specifically Excel, is required.  Experience with Peachtree, job costing, and/or construction industry experience is a plus.
