*** 32 Hour – Hybrid position ***
Responsible for the planning and organizing of the Cancer Registry; ensures that the registry record system for cancer patients is maintained for the purpose of patient follow-up, disease research and dissemination of information in accordance with established standards and professional ethics. Coordinate all Registry activities, including the Cancer Committee and Cancer Care Conference.
Education:
- Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- CTR required.
Experience:
- Two years advanced training in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, cancer biology and medical records procedures.
- Four to five years as a Cancer Registrar in an acute care hospital.
