PRIMARY DUTIES: Position provides various administrative and support functions for the Division of Public Works, primarily in the Solid Waste Department. This position is very customer service focused; strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Duties include being first contact for resident issues/complaints, managing resident issue tracking, communication and resolution, and maintaining the office and office equipment, assisting in enter payroll, working with the Scale House Operator, reconciling prior day transactions, and performing Scale House duties as needed. Full time, Monday through Friday. Grade 9, wage dependent upon experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of three (3) years related experience and an Associate’s Degree in Secretarial/Business is required. A combination of experience and education will be considered. Must have or obtain a State of New Hampshire Weigh Master’s (Scale Operator’s) License within 90 days of accepting position. Strong customer service background and strong computer skills including in the use of Microsoft Office is required. Knowledge and understanding of municipal government is preferred.
