PRIMARY DUTIES: The Clinical Community Health Worker (CCHW) collaborates with Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services (DPHCS) and the Nashua Police Department (NPD) to increase the Greater Nashua Public Health Region’s capacity to provide Behavioral Health services to residents in the community. The CCHW will assist with coordinating support services to youth and families at risk, homeless and vulnerable populations, and victims of crime for assistance in the areas of mental health, trauma and domestic violence-related resources. Position is full time, Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Hourly rate not to exceed $30.9939. *This position is grant-funded.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or other Behavioral Health Related field with a minimum of 3 years full-time experience in social work. Licensed in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling in the State of NH is a plus but not required. Knowledge of mental health, suicide prevention, substance misuse, substance abuse, treatment and recovery services. Must be highly proficient in use of Microsoft Professional Office Suite, including Excel, Outlooks, Windows and Publisher. Bi-lingual skills are a plus. Must have the ability to recognize and manage one’s own behaviors, moods, and impulses — to create an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming environment for all individuals. Candidate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
