City of Nashua
PRIMARY DUTIES: Performs analytical testing and data used to monitor the City of Nashua’s 40 million dollar activated sludge and anaerobic digestion process. The purpose of this position is to maintain strict quality control and assurance within the laboratory, thus validating data used in reporting. The process chemist prepares monthly reports for submittal to the USEPA and NHDES. Position is full time, Monday through Friday 6:45 am to 3:45 pm. Grade 13, wage dependent upon experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 3 years laboratory/relevant work experience; Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry or applicable environmental science plus be able to carry 50 lb. wastewater sampler. Experience considered in place of education.
