Environmental Services Technician

A well-respected local employer is looking for Environmental Services Technicians for all shifts! Responsibilities include general cleaning duties such as buffing and refinishing floors and transporting waste to help maintain a clean, healthy and safe environment for patients, visitors and employees. Responsibilities of the Environmental Services Technician

  • Perform all general cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.
  • Strip and make beds; clean the mattresses, pillows, and all other furniture
  • Clean wastebaskets, lockers, bathrooms, windowsills, and floors
  • Maintain a daily record of all discharge and transfer units cleaned
  • Move furniture and change light bulbs
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications of the Environmental Services Technician

  • High school diploma (or GED) strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and write required
  • Prior satisfactory work experience is desired
  • Some housekeeping background is preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
