Our schools have both non-program Special Education Assistants, that work with students that have lesser needs, and Program Special Education Assistants that work with students that have higher needs. Program Assistants receive an additional $0.50 per hour.
Starting hourly rates for non-program assistants are $15.37-$16.16
and program assistants are $15.87-$16.66.
Assistants are offered the ability to take a free RBT class on their own and get an additional $0.50 per hour once they receive the certificate.

PALS (LEEP & Matthew Thornton): Primary Academic Learning (need assistance with learning & safety)
FRIENDS/FLEX: Working with students on the Autism Spectrum
BAS (Middle School): Basic Academic Skills
PFS (Middle School): Emotional Disabilities
STEPS (High School): Students Tackling Emotional and Personal Struggles
ACT (High School): Academic and Career Training
ESC (High School): Emotional and Academic Support
