One of the region’s most respected manufacturers is looking for a Part Time Accounting Assistant. This is a temp to hire position that will have you working a flexible 20 hour/week schedule. The pay rate is $16/hr and once hired on you will be eligible for paid time off based on hours worked.   This is a small but growing employee friendly company!

Your duties as the Part Time Accounting Assistant:

Organize business transaction documents
Verify/post transactions to ledgers
Reconcile invoices to purchase orders and provide payment approval
Prepare and review various accounting documents/records
Ensure accounting activities are completed in a timely manner
Ensure A/P and A/R are up to date
Research discrepancies and other issues
Data entry
Scanning files
Analyze financial reports for accuracy

Your skills/qualifications for the Part Time Accounting Assistant position:

High School Diploma
2+ years recent and relevant accounting experience
Strong computer skills; MS Word and Excel
ERP experience is a plus
Good problem solving and communication skills
Must be a team player, organized, and resourceful
Ability to use time efficiently and manage multiple priorities
Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness
