Great employment opportunity near Brattleboro VT!  Our client has a need for a 1st shift Machinist that will have you working Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm. This temp to hire position offers $14-$16/hour depending on experience.  Once hired on, the company offers a nice benefits package including health/vision/life/dental insurance, 401k with company match, as well as paid time off.

As a Machinist you will be responsible for the following tasks including, but not limited to:

Set up and operation of multiple machines including CNC
Loading and unloading machines
Determine cutting parameters
Monitoring of product during production to ensure specifications and quality standards are met
Machine maintenance
Maintaining records
Maintain safe work environment and follow safety policies

Your Skills/Qualifications for the Machinist position:

Previous manufacturing experience required
Ability to read and write in English
Experience with machine tool operation, micrometers and calipers, and reading blueprints
Good manual dexterity
Must have good mechanical abilities
Must be able to be on your feet and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
