About the Role:
Training is provided!
Day Shift: Monday-Thursday 6 AM – 4 PM
Operate a die casting machine in exact accordance with established procedures.
Responsibilities:
Learn how to use the die casting equipment.
Ensure products meet standards
Monitor the continuous operation of machines to ensure uptime.
Visually inspect products for surface and evident dimensional flaws.
Trim parts of extra material.
Put the merchandise in the correct container.
Maintain accurate records of production activities and hours.
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines established by Pace Industries and OSHA standards.
Keep work area neat and clean
Skills:
Follow directions and interact with others in a clear and effective manner.
High degree of dependability
Quickly learn and correctly apply new information
Simple math and measurement activities.
Ability to work well in a group.
High School Diploma desired, but not required.
Physical Demands:.
Lift or move parts weighing up to 30 lbs.
Ascend/Descend, work atop ladders and equipment.
Sit, Stand, Walk, Climb, Stoop, Kneel.
You should be proficient in:
Machine Setups for Production Runs
Blueprint Reading
Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
Metal Casting Experience
Excellent Communication Skills
Shop Math Skills
Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Calipers and Micrometers
Die Cast Machine (Cold Chamber)
Measurement Gauges
