Special Education Paraprofessional

Timberlane Regional High School is seeking candidates for a special education paraeducator to work with students in the Intensive Needs and Autism Spectrum Disorders Programs.  This position entails providing academic support in the regular classroom and small pull-out settings, and may also include personal care, sensory regulation, social skills supports, and behavioral supports as needed for students with disabilities.  Experience working with middle school aged students and as part of a multi-disciplinary team is preferred. De-escalation training (CALM) is available and will be provided by the school district. Paraeducator certification is a plus. Special Education Paraeducators support the teaching and learning of students and serve as role models for all.
