SUMMARY/PURPOSE
In this critical role, the candidate will help ensure the accuracy of selection, staging and loading methods, including but not limited to, accuracy of selection, quality of stacking, protection of product condition including temperature as well as accurate and proper paperwork procedures before loading for delivery to our customers. The auditor may also inspect loaded trailers to further ensure product going to our customer meets expectations.

Auditor will document results with a high focus on quality to insure the best possible services for our customers. Discrepancies will require the auditor to identify the selector and notify the supervisor for correction before loading.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 1pm-9:30pm

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

Audits orders selected for our customers by inspecting pallets, totes and other staged product.
Ensures all small, crushable, and loose products are properly repacked.
Ensures pick stickers are correct by verifying against product.
Ensures the accuracy of tote and small pack items.
Ensures related shipping documents are completed (Tote Tracking Sheet, 6 packs, load diagrams, etc.).
Ensure right product to the right door/trailer.
Audits loading of trailers to further ensure product quality.
Spot checks to ensure date quality.
Any errors or quality issues found require notification to the appropriate supervisor or employee for correction prior to loading.
Documents and reports errors at the end of each shift following the prescribed documentation methods.
Perform random audits on select completed orders and verify that the product selected matches the order.
Helps ensure associates are following our established methods and processes for customer satisfaction and quality.
Monitors and inspects staging and loading methods to protect the cold chain.
Provide training/feedback assistance.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

High School degree or GED Required.
Ability to detect & expand internal control weaknesses and processes.
Ability to work with diverse group and across levels of responsibility.
Analytical review of data.
Attention to detail.
Shrink reduction/identification to causes of shrink and making suggestions for improvement.
Self-motivated individual with great initiative and ability to work independently.
Highly organized, detail orientated and capable of multi-tasking.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Ability to apply basic math calculations as related to quantities of product picked.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as tote content reports, order reports, etc.
Use of tablet or other electronic device to document problems and take pictures if needed.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Ability to analyze and identify root causes of internal control issues and make appropriate
NON ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Prior auditing experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Must be at least 18 years old.
Occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to work in varying temperatures.
Ability to operate around and near powered equipment, noisy environment.
Stand, walk, use hands.
Reach with hands and arms.
Stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Be aware of surroundings at all times and work in a safe manner.
